I taped the show from where I taped Failure earlier that afternoon(about 25 ft from right PA). A few mosh pits broke out around me so I tried to move but screamers/pits everywhere. I finally ended up 5ft FOS after about 30min or so of fighting my way through the crowd. This was the first and last time I every taped a summer festival in South Texas!!!! First 30min sounds a bit rough.If anyone has the "remaster" version please seed. I don't know why this is considered rare I traded it with all my friends. | Notes: | Get this one for the excellent performance. Corpus is another inspired Lollapalooza performance where they played Third Eye. Actually Eulogy is really the highlight here. MJ's voice soaring across these summer Lolla ampitheatres was something to hear, and you can really hear it here on Eulogy. Take a listen to that last "Goodbyyyyyyyyyee ..!!" The sound is not the greatest for a CSB > DAT source. The volume levels must have been set low as there is a slight hiss present throughout. The recording sounds distant and muffled but the taper was actually 25 ft FOS, then moved to 5 ft FOS after 30 minutes. As a result of moving, the sound does improve and gets sharper toward the middle-end of the show. The taper recently did another transfer from his DAT-M to cdr then to flac. Great to have it straight from the master. | |||||
