Notes: | FZ 1968-10-26 Paris Olympia, Paris, France October 26, 1968 SBD, A+, 50 min Frank Zappa and The Mothers Of Invention (FZ, Roy Estrada, Jimmy Carl Black, Arthur Dyer Tripp III, Ian Underwood, Don Preston, Bunk Gardner, Motorhead Sherwood). From FZ Shows: 26-Oct 1968, Olympia, Paris, France 50 min, SBD, A+ Improvisations, King Kong, Plastic People, Hungry Freaks Daddy, Son Of Mr Green Genes (q: Rite Of Spring) Lineage: SBD > 1st gen tape > trade CDR > Nero This is the version that originated with JN from his 1st gen tape, to which he applied some mild NR resulting in high frequency drop off beginning at about 18 K. Despite this, the sound quality is still very good; also, it may well be that without the NR it would sound worse; this can't be determined until if and when the unaltered version comes to light. This is NOT the MP3 version available previously. (Peccary/Obdewel_X 2006-7-29) | |||||
