After Beck performed his 2 sold out shows with his band at the Supper Club in NYC, he hung around the area for some extra time and performed two "surprise" performances, one at Columbia University (with the band) and this one (solo acoustic)... The band was at the show, and does join him on a few numbers as does Money Mark (who was the opener), hence it's mostly solo, and mostly acoustic. My pal recorded this, but in the ensuing mayhem of showing up very early to try to get tickets and many Guiness Draught, didn't start recording until Ramshackle. I, however, wound up meeting a guy who went by 'Squeegee', who got the whole show from the front row and traded it with me later. This recording is not as good as my pal's copy, which I will seed when I get the master>CD (rather than my 1st gen>CD), but it is the complete performance, and is the lowest gen in circulation, since Squeegee has dropped off the planet (or returned to his home planet?). There are way too many rarities to mention here. Notice the medley, notice Heartland Feeling, Dust In The Wind ;))). This is a rare freeform show (and very under, if not un-circulated!) that I think folks will enjoy. Hope so... PLEASE DO NOT SELL!! PLEASE DO NOT DISSEMINATE IN MP3 FORMAT!! | |||||
