Notes: DVD 982; lineage: Steve Hopkins recording. After completing the remaster of the Lampinski source, the Steve Hopkins master recording was remastered again. His tape is generally known as "source 2". Now, with the benefit of the Lampinski recording as a reference the speed and tonality of the two recordings could be brought in line. A friend of PRRP knows Steve Hopkins and obtained a fresh transfer of the his master tape for PRRP and this was used both for PRRP038 and this remaster project. Remaster 1. Speed correction using standard references and Lampinski source as a guide. 2. Tone adjustments using Lampinski remaster as a guide. This is different than original PRRP038. 3. Balance correction. 4. Dynamics adjusted. 5. Clicks and pops repaired. 6. Re-tracked to be similar to Lampinski. 7. No patches necessary. Tape flips occurred during applause.
