Notes: "Prince of Peace"; I believe this is a blend of two different shows, the first portion is from 5/2/71 in Baarn, Holland and the latter portion is from 11/21/70 in NYC at the Fillmore East; see J-Card Comment for updated setlist info

Great Balls Of Fire I attended this show while home on Thanksgiving break from boarding school. Leon?s first solo had just come out and it was one of the great supersession albums (including contributions from B.J. Wilson, Bill Wyman, Bonnie Bramlett, Charlie Watts, Delaney Bramlett, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Jim Gordon, Joe Cocker, Klaus Voormann, Merry Clayton, Mick Jagger, Ringo Starr and Steve Winwood). Leon performs all but one of the songs from that album here plus a great Dylan cover and several old blues and rock ?n? roll tracks. Oh yeah, opening the show was a new, young performer named Elton John. Hope you dig it!

Notes: I was there! (I was very young at the time. :) When I heard it, I had an olfactory deja vu. I could actulaly smell the Fillmore! Must be the early show. Elton John opened and I was told that he came out with Leon for some of the late show.
