Notes: his concert was taped by two people. The first one captured the whole concert, the second only these three songs because he hadn't brought enough reel tape. But the recording of the second person was far better. This is what you get here. A copy of this reel was distributed on tape and an nth generation copy was finally available as "The Return Of The Sons Of Nothing" on CD. Although an nth gen copy it became still famous for its great sound quality and extraordinary performance. To be honest, these are by far my favourite live versions of these three songs. The third track on that CD was named "Looking Through The Knotholes In Grannys Wooden Leg" because Roger announced "Echoes" that way. In 1998, the owner of the master reel decided to newly transfer the master tape to his computer and create a better version. In fact, he decided to also fix some problems, especially some whistling and shouting of the crowd. You may decide for yourself if you like that or not. Most notably the whistling guy at the start of "One Of These Days" is missing. Nevertheless, this recording is even superior to the already great "Return Of The Sons Of Nothing". Although the show is incomplete, this is definitely a must have. The taper distributed this version through me, so I'm the only owner of the original CD-R and original artwork which is supplied as scans.

Notes: Pink Floyd 1972-11-15 This is two sources combined to get as complete a show as possible... CD 1 is from ""Mega Rare Restored LP - "Live At Boeblingen" "" Speed-corrected and rejoined LP remaster with artwork - Features Roger ranting in Welsh! A lot of fun to work on, this 2 LP set ran way, way too slow. It was pitch-corrected on the turntable to the online program "Virtual Keyboard", and declicked. The album fades between sides at strange moments (why didn't they keep DSOTM together?), but fortunately there was enough overlap to resplice it together almost without any notice. It's a great recording, and one of the longer Dark Sides I've ever heard. Roger is heard ranting in Welsh during "Careful...", making this one of the most intense sets to ever make it onto vinyl. Lineage: FL1/4 ->Technics SL1200MK2 running way fast ->Echo Layla ->Sound Forge 6.0->Click And Crackle Removal ->Flac via Flac frontend, level 6, sectors aligned and verified CD 2 is from the bootleg "Return of the Sons of Nothing": Setlist (Runtime 1hr 39mins 57sec) CD 1 (50:16) Speak To Me Breathe On The Run Time The Great Gig In The Sky Money Us And Them Any Colour You Like Brain Damage Eclipse CD 2 (49:41) 01 One Of These Days (I'm Going To Cut You Into Little Pieces) [9:12] 02 Careful With That Axe, Eugene [14:06] 03 Echoes (Looking Through The Knotholes In Granny's Wooden Leg) [26:23]
