Go Ahead was a side band for Brent Mydland and Billy Kreutzmann while Jerry recovered from his coma. This tour included Alex Ligertwood and Dave Margen from Santana's band and Jerry Cortez of the Youngbloods and Jesse Colin Young. The show was recorded on the club owner's Nak and I got his masters to make my first gen copy (also dubbed on two Naks). I have made copies of my tapes for a few people over the years so the show is in limited circulation but thanks to Howard Gault I am now able to bring it into the digital world. Lineage is SBD > MAC > C > DAT > CD and sounds very nice indeed. - Tom Donaldson
