Notes: Chicago Transit Authority / Janis Joplin Texas International Pop Festival 1969 Dallas, Texas SBD - quality: A Chicago Transit Authority August 31, 1969 1. announcement 2. Come On Everybody Let Us Play for You 3. Piano intro... interrupted by jet fly over 4. Does Anybody Really Know What Time it is? 5. Cloudy Every Morning - Sun Don't Shine 6. Beginnings 7. 25 or 6 to 4 (endling cut) 8. we've been having fun in dallas 9. I'm a Man Janis Joplin August 30, 1969 10. 11. 12. 13. Maybe 14. 15. notes: - Track 2: Slight pops at 0:09, 0:11, 0:12, 0:14, 0:41, 0:54. - Track 7: The last few seconds of the tune sound like they've been cut off. ***** Got these both on the same CD with the title "Texas Pop Festival" and date 9.1.69. I dug around a bit and found different folks with sets by the above artists for the dates I gave, and found a setlist for the Chicago show which completely matches what I have, so... Anyway, if you request this from me, you'll get both Chicago and Janis unless you REALLY don't want both. Just let me know... -bk
