Notes: Grateful Dead War Memorial Auditorium 9 May 1977 Disc one: 74 minutes 1. Help on the Way > Slipknot > 2. Franklin's Tower 3. Cassidy 4. Brown-eyed Women 5. Mexicali Blues 6. Tennessee Jed 7. Big River 8. Peggy-O 9. Sunrise 10. The Music never stopped Disc Two: 21 minutes 1. Bertha > 2. Good Lovin' 3. Ship of Fools Disc Three: 63 minutes 1. Estimated Prophet > 2. The Other One > 3. Drums > 4. Not Fade Away > 5. Comes a Time > 6. Sugar Magnolia Encore: 7. Uncle John's Band This is a fantastic show and an even better recording of it. Whoever mastered the original discs did a great job of editing out the multiple minutes of tuning that exists between each song on every analog tape of this show I have ever heard. Also in the analog versions there was a harsh splice right in the middle of the very hot Music never stopped. This splice has been edited out. I think you can hear it (the edit), but I prefer that to the splice I have heard before. Also, disc two is only 21 minutes - this is how it came to me so this is what I am posting. CD lists the generation as: S:bReel, P, D, CD-R and I would class this one A+ for sure. And let's not forget to thank Trick for the source discs!!! Jason
