Notes: Sounds like a live studio recording. Not high energy. Controlled playing. Interesting nonetheless. The May '77 shows all carry high expectations - I would say that the sound quality of this show results in the actual music being a tad bit overrated. I personally like more emotional playing with a few mistakes. Update 5/14/04- the estimated > too > nfa > cat is excellent and well worth the listen. d3t4 1:36-1:39 NFA partial loss, d3t7 volume shift 8:17 with right channel drop

Notes: Aud - Recorded by Steve Maizner Sony ECM-33Ps > Nak 550 source cdr mastering by Jack Warner [2007-06-20]Set 1 starts with a now infrequent H>S>F, with the remainder being standard 77 selections. Set 2 starts off continuing where set 1 left off with typical Bertha > GL, SOF. Set 2 jam has Estimated > TOO > Drums > NFA > CAT > Sugar Mag. This is another tight, 77 performance highlighted by CAT. This group of tunes has no singular epic moments but characterized by continuously well played smooth segues. Sound quality is good with not much crowd only flaw being a bit monaurl.

Notes: BBD w/ aud patch via Connor [2007-06-03]Excellent sound and good patching. This show is very highly rated in general, but the consensus is behind a most superb version of CAT. Here's an upbeat review from the LMA "yeah, it's confirmed, this show is ridiculously good from start to finish..the sound quality is definitely awesome too..". Starts with a HSF, nicely jammed Cassidy, Peggy-O is a strong version, TMS is an eregetic set closing. Teh Bertha > GLovin, SOF I'd classify as typical. Likewise there is a blip to the set flow on the drums section and the TOO intro is not of the tension/release variety, but CAT>Sugar Mag is a fine set closer.
