Notes: | mp3-sourced. Sound is quite listenable, but still rather dull and distant-feeling. The setlist features a couple great cover songs, "Sonic Reducer" being not done nearly enough at all! The show is tight and "Rearviewmirror" is great as an opener. DAO 4/21/03, 4/24/03 | |||||

To be honest, it probably is my favorite PJ show besides Atlanta 94. My favorite song on this is "Porch", absolutely classic. The tag team action of Fred and Dave cannot be stopped, and Soon did artwork for this years ago, but he now updated the entire package considerably for this release and made it even better. Show Notes (thanks to fivehorizons): Ed jokes, "There is a fake in Florida, but this is the real Jeff Ament. If someone comes up to you and says he is Jeff Ament and wants to take your pot or wants to take you to a stripclub, it is probably not him." In a very rare third encore, 'Throw Your Arms Around Me' is introduced as follows: "See, we live in a place where it ain't so sunny. Have you ever been in Seattle? It's just ... this song has a lot to do with summer and I just want to play it here cause it always feels like summer here." This is a wonderful show. |
