| Notes: | Neumann tlm170 inshnerator - this is a very good source, with sick FOB sound in the sweet spot, and a great show that I would suggest you listen to if you haven't. The intro jam has tighte, interleaved jamming then a killer version of The Wheel with lots of fun teases in the interior jam. d1t4 ~4:20 the volume changes a tad (mics lowered?) The Saturn jam is meldoic and reserved. The outro jam from Fntasy is very syncopated and jazzy with good Barracco piano. The Star > Days Between slows things down nicely before the final high energy TOO > Shakedown and Passenger encore. Its not all perfect but this show should keep your attention if you like this lineup. | |||||

| Notes: | Oktava shapiro - this was posted as a bittorrent with a "best source for this date" recommendation. The sound in many places is very good, full with a good aural soundfield BUT there are enough flaws that i would not get this source for this date. There are many small skips/gaps possible xfer errors that might not be on the source dats but they are in the shn files. d1t3 ~9:00, 9:13 skips;d1t5 3:30 skip, d1t6 gap ~7:40 (during crowd), d1t7 skip 1:30, d3t1 2:40 2 skips, d3t2 overload on bass so there is distortion, d3t3 again suffers from overload distortion, pretty bad, d3t4 ~0:45 skip. The overload on disk 3 suggests there might be other issues if one looks at the levels. The actual show is no sloucher - and most people who like this lineup of p&f would enjoy this show. | |||||
