This is the VERY FIRST show with the expanded, nine-piece Heads, and is also the first concert the Heads played after recording "Remain in Light". There are 70,000 in the audience.

| Notes: | I have this date as 8/23 This is the first appearance of the band that toured for the Remain In Light tour, including Adrian Belew. There are gaps between a number of the songs as someone was looking to save tape by cutting out audience noise between cuts. This is the way it is on my cassette. The mix is a little funky, but over all the sound is good. From Sonicbarbecue.com: Billed as a "new wave Woodstock," the Heatwave festival was held at Mosport Park, northeast of Toronto, Ontario. Performers included Elvis Costello, The Pretenders and Talking Heads. Only 50,000 people showed up. Enjoy. | |||||
