Notes: | I transfered to wav and then to flac level 8 for my own convenience, the original files were ape. Much thanks to thir13en for this masterpiece. Original info: **Remastered** by thir13en Rolling Stones 1973-10-17 Brussels, Belgium Much thanks to danaugen for seeding the original here and happily accepting my wanting to RM it the way I did. He knows the full-detailed story of this and how the original became the "Definitive Edition", but I won't go into the details. I only used the portion of the Brussels show that was soundboard quality, leaving off the horrible AUD recording of "Starfucker". As for the other decent tracks that surround this broadcast, you'll have to wait... I couldn't resist this one, the performance, the setlist, just the whole damn thing was awesome from top to bottom. A quality recording that needed the xtra boost of a proper mastering job, which it got and responded to very nicely. Check it for yourself, you won't be disappointed. Much warmer, bigger, brighter. Notes: | BUNNIES, BOMBS, BUSTS AND A PRINCESS (Halcyon boot label) ---- " OK, I have seen about 20 bootlegs/torrents, claiming to be THE best listening experience for the legendary Brussels 1973 show of Rolling Stones (1st show). But it's nearly always just a bluff; like if the uploader thinks he earns money on each of the downloads. THIS Halcyon bootleg, however, is my favourite version of Brussels 1973 (1st show); and have been that, since I got a copy many years ago. But here is a rip from my silvers And yes, it's probably just EQing that make this bootleg better than the other bootlegs, but, if so, they're fantastic with the EQing God bless Japan! Or is it Japan that did this? Should we say God bless Finland instead? " by Erik(snow) | |||||
