Notes: Wow, the immortal Ray Charles riffing in the studio. What a blessing. The candor, the feeling. Gets an A- only because it has a light hiss.

Notes: probably from Atlantic Studios Ray first recorded for Atlantic in New York City on September 11, 1952. Unlike his Swingtime sides, his Atlantic debut single, "The Sun's Gonna Shine Again," was pure Ray Charles. He also shined on "Roll With Me Baby" and "Jumpin' in the Mornin'." His second session, on May 17, 1953, produced the blues classics "Mess Around" and "Losing Hand." (from: http://home.attbi.com/~soulexpress4/soulbio3.htm )
