This show is commonly mislabled as 10-17-94, but the Rusted Root data base has it listed as 10-07-94, and the state path of DMB's tour makes this date more appropriate.
I was at this show. I received the shn's from RustedRecordings.com They pulled this show out of the archives for a one time ftp this past week. The recording confirms the show (see quote from Dave below). Root had been opening for DMB at this time, but DMB was relatively unheard of in Pittsburgh. Root headlined in their hometown. This show was Root's last in the Burgh before embarking on their first tour under a major label. This is DMB's first appearance in Pittsburgh!
