Notes: I'm not going to lie to you. This show has a few issues. Drop outs, skips, and some hissing. I'm sure this sucker has been through many analog generations and the quality has suffered because of it. Most of these problems do seem to be at the beginning of each disc and get better as the shows goes on.

Notes: Source: BGP SBD > Open reel Ampex videotape or to conventional RtR (unclear which equipment was used) Transfer #1: (c. 1988) re-anneal master tapes (if needed) > D (probably a Sonic Solutions ADC @ 24/48) > PCM tape Remaster #1: (c. 1988) PCM > hiss & artifact removal > "sonic solutions process" > DAT (or other digital medium > DAT) Transfer #2: (1990) MDAT > Nakamichi deck> XLII-S/90 > MC Transfer #3: (1990) MC > Nakamichi deck (playback) > Nakamichi deck (record) > XLII-S/90 > C(1) Transfer #4: (2005) C(1) > Aiwa AD-F850 > THC Cables > Edirol U-A5 > USB > Wavelab 5.01a @ 24/96 > WAV Final Mastering: WAV > Wavelab 5.0a (X-noise to reduce hiss; 192 KhZ resampler > 44.1k; L3 Multimaximizer to increase gain and dither to 16 bits) > FLAC. Remastered 2007: Volume boosted, evened out, and EQ applied. There was a 50 second spot in track 3 that was one channel only, that was repaired by overwriting that portion with the other channel. There were some other low volume spots that were fixed.

Superstition// Cut in Killing Me Softly at 04:16 Superstition is cut :( This show's tracking was a mess when I recieved this. I extracted this with EAC, then combined the waves and retracked them with CDWav. I used EAC to compress to shn. The sound is a bit muddy and there are some pops from what i assume is an analog master source This is a reworking of the original seed I made available, which was a simple EAC extraction. All processing work done by terrapinstation 02/17/2004 Thanks to Rob A. for the original source discs. Another Porky Prime Cut from Terrapin Station!!
