Transfer using Sound Forge 6,0 at 24 bit 48000hz. using Skytronic cable.> Sound Forge 6,0 (EQ boost to bass, manual distortion removal from parts of left channel, level adjustment, Normalisation, track split, resampling to 41000hz PCM)>MKW Shorten Utility>SHN Location Centre,17 rows back,just in front of soundboard. Taper DBMTB Mastering process The input levels on the left channel were slightly higher than on the right,and they became overloaded at times. As much of the resulting occasional distortion has been removed as possible. I used audio from the opposite channel to replace the clicks where necessary. Nothing has been added to the recording that was not there originally. Bass levels were adjusted to give a closer approximation of the actual sound at the concert. I used a set of Grado SR60 headphones to do the mastering. (If it sounds crap, it is your headphones/ears there is something wrong with, not mine.)
