The audio is only mono. during 'Stiff Competition' the show is temporarily stopped by the fire brigade. No smoking was allowed in the WDR studio, so Bun E Carlos had to put out his cigarette! No fancy menu or song tracks. Just automatic tracks every 5 minutes. | Notes: | Here's a great video of the first concert that Cheap Trick did for Rockpalast. In oktober 1983, they played at the Rockpalast night in the Grugahalle in Essen. Anyway, the DVD is taken from a master PAL video tape using a stand alone DVD recorder. The audio is only mono, and the overall sound quality isn't exactly mind blowing... Back in those days, it always seemed like the Rockpalast sound engineers didn't really know how to make a decent mix. By the way, please notice the beautiful Hamer guitars that Rick Nielsen is playing.... Yummie!!
