Jerseyboy Remaster: Flac>wav>sound forge8 wave hammer 16bit mastering setting>SF paragraphic Eq to boost mid-range slightly>re-tracked>cdr>eac>flac
I boosted the audio levels 5db because this was recorded very low. I then applied the Wave Hammer to fatten up the overall sound and keep it on par
with a commercially released show. When re-tracking I have all of set one on disc one and all of set 2 on disc 2. In order to accomplish this I removed 2 minutes of unbearable
downtime between a few songs in the 1st set. Not one note of music or Stage sound was touched...just a bunch of woo-hoos & and yeahs and basic crowd noise. I broke up disc2 trk3 into 6 parts.
It was originally one large 22minute track, but I think it makes sense to break it up. This way you can jump to the "hilights" of the whole event. Kudos to Funky Avocado for a great pure digital(optical) recording.
I hope the "remastering" is enjoyed by all! If you'd like the original untouched offering you'll find it at Live archive |
