Notes: |
After you're tired of listening through those endless Lateralus tour shows: sludging your way through those neverending intermissions, Adam guitar wank-offs to lead-out Reflection, and apathetic Maynard straining his voice, missing every other note, return to this show to remind you why this band is so great.
Amsterdam is the first stop on their '97 spring Aenima tour. They are refreshed, energized, and give this small crowd a hell of performance. Third Eye is beautiful ..
And Wim's digital cassette capture of this show is delicious. It is so sharp and detailed; it makes you actually -feel- how intimate the venue was.
Tech Notes:
- This is the complete show, not the incomplete, one-disc, commercially-released boot known as "Third Eye" or "Third Leg."
- Prison Sex has a small cut in the beginning (I believe, due to a tape flip) |

Original Silver > CDR > EAC > WAV > SHN |
Notes: |
"Third Eye" Liberated Bootleg - just missing "Pushit" I belive, however volume is adjusted quite nicely on this disc vs. the original recording. But I'd rather have the complete original recording. |
