Notes: Source: Multi-angle camera pro-shot Lineage: See notes below Format: NTSC Chapters Match Tracks: Yes, with a menu and extras Artwork by: Bumblebee Productions Video Quality: A+ Audio Quality: A Title: Malice In The Palace Label: Digital Reproductions Digital Dan's original notes: Recorded live at the Auburn Hills Palace in Detroit, Michigan on June 27, 2000. Sourced from a first gen proshot video. A great looking and sounding video, the only drawback being some occasional white noise in the video and the soundtrack being mono. There is also a few occasional sonic glitches, but nothing notable or memorable. The performance is pretty good considering it is the second show of the tour. Roger's voice seems a little low compared to the rest of the band, whether that is because of the house mix or him just not being in top form on this night is hard to tell. The video is comprised of several camera's and the switching of angles is pretty well done, though occasionally it's a bit busy. The version of "5:15" is great as is the rare performance of "The Seeker". Special thanks to Bumblebee Productions for the artwork and to the CBG for the video source used for this release. Production Details: The video was transferred from 1st gen VHS to Digital8. The Digital8 tape was transferred to the computer via digital firewire connection from a Sony TRV-540 camcorder as MS-DV 29.97fps and 16bit / 48khz audio. Video was minimally edited in Adobe Premier, After Affects, and Photoshop. The show has a running time of 2hr16min and was split 68min to each disc. Resulting video was compressed to mpeg2 with a bit rate of 8000bps and the audio was compressed as Dolby Digital at a bit rate of 448bps. The artwork is included on the dvd's and can be printed out on any computer with a DVD drive and a printer. The DVD's can be copied to either DVD-r or DVD+r formats. As with all Digital Reproductions releases, this is for free trade and blank media trade only. This production should never be bought, sold, or distributed for profit. Please keep the spirit of trading alive and well!
