Certainly there was also a set from them on the same set of tapes. Make of it what you will, thats how rumours start. Anyway. The sound quality is not the best but it sure ain't bad and the band sound pretty good. It's not the "out there" Janis that we get a year or two later... She and the band stay pretty grounded throughout, making for a good, smooth listen on the ol' Hi-Fi... Here are some comments from bt.etree.org which is where I originally got this: "this show is a stage aud .. that is jorma placed his mics on the stage in front of the monitor speakers and its no rumour about him taping this there has been a real aud tape circulating for other parts of this festival which was a lot weaker jorma taped the airplane and the dead and also the next night the airplane did" "this was the 'northern california folk rock festival'.it took place at the santa clara county fairgrounds in san jose on 5/18,19/68.besides big brother,over the course of the fest you had;the dead,airplane,electric flag,youngbloods,steve miller,animals,the dorrs,kaleidescope,taj mahal and more" http://db.etree.org/lookup_show.php?shows_key=58265 | |||||
