LINEAGE: THIS IS A 1ST GEN CASSETTE FROM THE MASTER. I GOT THIS FROM A GUY WHO SAID HE WORKED FOR THE BAND. I HAD PREVIOUSLY CONTACTED BB_KING_ARCHIVEST ABOUT THIS RECORDING. I SENT HIM THE CASSETTE TO COMPARE TO OTHER KNOWN SOURCES. HE STATED THIS WAS FAR SUPERIOR TO WHAT HE HAD. HE TRANSFERED THE CASSETTE TO WAV
RECORDING: I DONT KNOW WHAT WAS USED TO RECORD IT
PLAY BACK: RCA SCT-500 tAPE DECK TO A JVC XL-R2010 STANDALONE BURNER
THIS IS A PRISTINE RECORDING OF A GREAT PERFORMANCE. IN THE OLD DAYS WHEN TRADING CASSETTES, YOU GOT LUCKY ONCE IN A WHILE AND GET A GREAT RECORDING FROM THE MASTER OR LOW GEN COPY... THIS WAS ONE OF THOSE TIMES. THANKS AGAIN TO THE TAPER AND BB_KING_ARCHIVEST FOR HIS HELP AND FOR THE TRANSFER. ENJOY |

Notes: |
Crystal clear recording from 1986. Partial show. It's only 7 tracks, though, and the first two are the band's warm-up. So there are only 5 tracks with B.B. King on them, and he only sings on 4 of those. And he sounds a little hoarse. Still a very good show, though. |
