Notes: | Very nice aud recording - this night gets exceptionally high reviews from the TC. Songs are well played but this is an average show to my ears. [2007-01-17]On re-listening this is a better show than average. The Sugaree and Deal from the 1st set and PITB from set 2 are easy to get drawn into. Standard setlist for the time. Excellent sound and mix and no intrusive audience.

Notes: | set 1 sbd, st 2 aud (same as existing aud source) cotsman [2006-11-19] Set 1 sbd has a good mix and overal nice balance. Garcia seems especially on with lots of energy and upbeat riffs. Deal to close set 1 good example of this. The set 2 jam Terrapin Station-> Playin' In The Band-> Drums-> Wharf Rat-> Sugar Magnolia, espc the PITB thru Sugar Mag is worth hearing. After listening to many other 78 shows this one, though not epic is an above average performance and left me with a smile on my face.

Notes: | Glassberg aud [2006-10-07] This is a nice sounding aud which captures the feel of the hall. The show is typical. The band plays well but the song selection and jamming is not exceptional. The LLR had what I thought were exceptional vocals esp. by Donna. She seems to have found her nitch.

Notes: | FOB Audience Recording (25th Row DFC )Glassberg MOTB [2007-03-30]A recent new transfer of a source I seeded a few years back. I noticed the "Staying Alive" tease before MAMU where Bob messes up the verses a bit too. Again a typical well performed 78 show but nothing to single it out for special attention. Nice sound as usual for the Glassberg auds.

[2008-08-02]This comment is apt "Generational and age decay causes some phasing in this source. The upfront and unique quality of this recording justifies circulation even with the aforementioned inconsistencies. Hopefully this master will surface." I really enjoyed this set and tape - the band seems very engaged and enjoying themselves and the playing is at a high level throughout. I'd say this snippet is a must listen for the quality of the tape and the performance, especially the Jerry/drummer jam out of the "drum" segment. If you like Jerry shredding for a while this is a good example imo.

Its ok but not a quality source to make it worth going out of the way to get.
