Notes: "Blues At Midnight" [Midnight Beat MB CD 037]. (Total time = 41:11, 39:27). Soundboard recording (source 1) > ? > CD-R > ? > WAV > SHN; Soundboard recording (source 2) > ? > FLAC; remastering: SHN (source 1)/FLAC (source 2) > WAV > WaveLab 5.0 > CD Wave > SHN. This is the most complete version of this jam that I've been able to find...Remastering performed on both sources with Wavelab 5.0 and plugins. All patches performed with cross fades and overlapping. Most of the hiss on both sources was removed without using noise reduction. On both sources the vocal levels are low through out. On d01,t01 (Jam I) and d01,t02 (Jam II: "Drunk Again") Source 2 was used & levels raise and drop through out both tracks. d01,t01 (Jam I) drop outs on both channels at 00:15 and 00:45 were removed. d01,t04 (Little Wing) thru d02,t02 (Stormy Monday) Source 1 was used. On d01,t04 (Little Wing) both sources cut/fade out at 9:13. On d02,t01 (Everything's Gonna Be Alright) fades in on both sources. On d02,t03 (Three Little Bears, Part 1) fades in on both sources, and digital pop at 9:59 on both channels was removed. On d02,t04 (Three Little Bears, Part 2) Source 1 fades out at 6:15, Source 2 was used to patch from 6:15-6:24 (Source 2 cuts off at 6:24). On d02,t02 (Stormy Monday) both sources fade in at the same spot. Remastering by twiley. SHN[max500p]

Notes: Mostly a trio performance: bass, drums and Jimi. Elvin's guitar is scarce, harp is a little better. Track 5 provides the best mix. These deficiencies are insignificant because Jimi just plain ROCKS!!!
