Notes: Grateful Dead - July 8, 1995 Soldier Field - Chicago, IL Audience shot video with soundboard audio sync Lineage: Audience shot of Pro Shot Stadium Screens>VHS>Panasonic DMR-EH75V Sony Vegas 7.0 and TMPGEnc DVD Author 2.0 were used to synch the sbd audio to the video and to menu the disc. No re-encoding was done. Audio Codec: AC3 Audio Bitrate: 224 kb/s Video System: NTSC 29.97 fps Video Bitrate: 4762 Running Time: 1 hr 44 min The show is incomplete -- missing "Jack Straw," "Sugaree," "Wang Dang Doodle" and "Queen Jane." This was filmed from the audience off of the pro shot stadium screens. Once in a while there are bobbing heads on the screen, but nothing too bad. "Althea" and "Eternity" were filmed while it was still light out, so the stadium screens are slightly washed out but that soon clears up as night falls. I synched up the soundboard to the video (what a bugger of a time I had with this one) and I think it came out pretty good. For some reason there is no soundboard of "Eternity" from this show, at least that I've ever come across, so I've synched up the audience audio for this song. The next to the last Grateful Dead show, with a great rendition of "Visions of Johanna." I hope you enjoy!
