Tool - 1996.11.23 The Electric Factory - Philadelphia, PA, USA Original Source: Coresound Omni's > modified battery box > Sony TCD-D7(Mic in/Oade Mod II) > Master DAT > M-Audiophile 24/96 > Amadeus Pro > Xact > FLAC Taper: Jeffrey S. Disc 1 - 1 Track - 88:22 Notes: This is a fresh transfer of the original DAT master. Thanks Brian! Tracked with CDWAVE Editor on 3/5/2012 by Chris ([email protected]) Disc 1: 01. Third Eye [13:00] 02. Stinkfist [05:37] 03. Forty Six & 2 [06:47] 04. Eulogy [09:22] 05. Prison Sex [07:07] 06. Pushit [10:32] 07. H. [07:53] 08. Merkaba > [06:32] 09. Sober [05:20] 10. Opiate [07:52] 11. Ænema [08:20] Notes on the taper and this show from collectiveunconscious.org: "Without a doubt, this taper is a legend. The skill set that Jeff Sebastianelli possessed in regards to taping Tool just boggles my mind. jlizard, a very good friend of this taper, has stated that "we could run the same equipment while standing next to each other at a show but somehow his sources just always seemed to be a little bit 'more'...he had the touch". And it shows in the quality of his recordings. Take a listen to what is perhaps one of if not the most widely-spread recording of Tool, ever, 11/23/1996. You listen to that performance & are just transformed; it's almost like you are standing next to the stack as he was back in 1996. Me, personally, that recording-source is the reason I picked up taping equipment. People still confuse that as a sound board recording."
