Notes: | Steve Maizner's Sony ECM-990>Sony TC-152 aud master>First Gen Reel>played directly to hard drive by Karen Hicks [2007-07-01]This is just a review of the sound quality of this source. Not as intense as the FOB that circ's but nevertheless it is a balanced aud that doesn't have too much crowd.

Notes: | 3 source matrix (sbd + Aud1 + aud2) [2007-04-15]Mix uses the auds to add some ambiance to the Eaton BBD. Part of the reason for the high rating of this show is the S>F, Estimated > NFA > SS > NFA > Dew segment.

Notes: | Handheld Shure 57's,10 Feet From Stage,DFC>TC152>MC MC>CDR>EAC>WAV>FLAC Recording And Transfer:Jeff Stevenson [2007-06-11]This is a very good audience recording. Listening to this show from an audience tape is a good way to see if it deserves the hype. Set 1 had this nice run of tunes Jack Straw, Deal, LL-> Supplication, BEW mid set. Jeery's picking on BEW unexpectedly grabbed my attention. Set 2's setlist Scarlet -> Fire , Estimated , Stephen-> NFA -> Stephen-> Dew, has no dull moments with outstanding S>F, NFA and Dew. The audience recording picks up amazing clarity and audience energy. This recording is on my must hear list. It made even this cynical listener appreciate this show.

Cool Edit Pro 2.0 was used to align & synch both sources. CEP2.0 used to adjust the volume for the center and LFE channels. Surcode CD Pro DTS was used to encode to DTS. -3db was NOT applied to the rear channels. Both of the sources for the front and rear channels were left at their original levels. - Mixed by [email protected] - Shn conversion 09-FEB-2004 - Artwork by [email protected] 300dpi - For best results print at the highest resolution onto glossy photo paper. The result is smooth and most likely undetectable. Crowd cheer/tuning between Estimated and St. Stephen was missing on the AUD source. I used a "crowd cheer/tuning" from another portion of the same Aud recording. I also shortened the overall length by a minute. No music is missing and it came out sounding smooth and natural. The first set was riddled with btwn song cuts and had several cuts in songs on both the SBD and the AUD. It is possible to make a DTS and a matrix mix for set one but the final result will be very "choppy". Maybe someday but for now, enjoy this! --------------------------------------------------------- More On DTS Today's audio standards are moving towards multi-channel sound, like DTS and Dolby Digital. While the Audio-CD standard (Red Book) hasn't changed to accommodate these new sound formats, it is still possible to go around the specification and to put a 5.1 surround recording on a regular Audio-CD. To play a DTS-Audio-CD you must connect your DVD/CD player via a digital cable (optical or coaxial) to your DTS Dolby-Digital receiver. It is not 100% sure that your receiver will recognize a DTS-Audio CD, so the first time you're trying to playback a DTS-Audio-CD you must do a test to determine if it can. Begin with the volume very low, start the disc and rise the volume gradually. NEVER listen to a DTS-Audio-CD through the analogue audio outputs of your CDDVD player. Burning Instructions Burn them the absolute same way as you would burn any normal Audio-CD from .shn files.
