* With Medeski, Martin, and Wood, and Dominic Falco on trumpet. Trey played both guitar and mini drum set up front. Mike played bass and some kind of horn at the end of the jam. Fishman played vacuum and trombone. Billy Martin played Fishmans drums.

Notes: Feat. With Medeski Martin and Wood, and Dominic Falco on trumpet Other owners' comments..."For those of you who have not heard this show before... well I pity you. I saw 72 Phish shows and this was my favorite first set ever! When Kung is the third song of the night you know you're in for weirdness and fun. Stash was jaw-dropping and finally ended up in Catapult. I was still in awe fom the first set when they uncorked a great Reba and then came ... the jam... About 15 minutes into YEM other people starting appearing onstage. Dominique Flaco starts playing a trumpet. Suddenly Medeski Martin and Wood were there...playing with Phish and then slowly taking over the instruments ..in a seamless jam... leaving Trey with nothing to do but to grab his megaphone and start doing laps around the stage setup as the jam got weirder and darker. It was improvisational music at its finest. They tried to do it again in New Orleans a few nights later but this one blew that one out of the water."
