I don't know any more about the lineage than what's above; sorry. Both sound and performance are excellent. I believe that the Beatle reference in the title is due to the fact that George Harrison was in attendance (although I don't think he played) that night. What *is* cut, however, is the opening minute or so of pre-recorded music (prior to Eric coming onstage) that comprises the first track.
