Notes: Beck David Campbell was born July 8 in LA. He grew up in an open-minded bohemian environment. His parents and grandfather had all hung out at Andy Warhol?s Factory. At age 14 Beck dropped out of school and, unable to enroll in a performing art college, self educated himself by reading voraciously, watching French New Wave films and listening to old blues and country records scrounged from the library and yard sale bargain bins. His early musical influences include Mississippi John Hurt, Leadbelly, and Woodie Guthrie. This show is a soundboard recording from "Sessions At West 54th" TV Broadcast. "Make Out City" Boot.
