| Notes: | sbd - very good sound. Dominated by individual songs. CR&S starts off strong. Cumberland high energy, E72 style. Great version. Sugar Mag to start set 2 has someone (Weir) way off key on the guitar. Whoever was off key gets in tune by the end (similar to the style of 4/29/72 - I was waiting for Caution to kick in...). Phil has an amusing introduction for Pigpen. The NFA>GDTRFB>NFA high energy with th elittle China Cat jam before GDTRFB. At the end, Pigpen and Bobby are trading screams and whatnot and really gets the energy level high. OMSN is also a very high energy version and lots of fun to listen to (ebn though I've heard it what seems like a million times). Summary - great sound and an overal good show, lacking in jams but Pigpen's tunes break up the song styles so its a fun listen. | |||||
