| Notes: | aud - clugston [2006-06-15] Excellent sound quality. I'm reminded that Half Step when positioned as the 1st or 2nd song of set 1 works well because it starts with lengthy vocals that allows some time to settle but during the jam allows the energy to ramp up at a measured pace. Set 1 ends with a somewhat non-standard song mix of Candyman, Jack Straw, Deal. Set 2 features Phil little bass solo's throughout. Excellent sound on this aud - rich and well articulated bass. Check it out. One of the top shows for 77 IMO. | |||||

On 2nd listen still holds up as a must hear 77 show, especially for Phil's energetic playing throughout. EOTW > Samson struck me as a good pairing to start set 2, don't know how many times it was ever done. | |||||

Jerry seems to be in a rock-n-roll mood for set 1 - his playing on 1/2 Step and Big River struck me as very energetic, engaged and assertive. Set 1 ends on an upbeat note with Jack Straw & Deal. Set 2 is on the must hear list as it features Lesh doping a multitude of soloing. It starts with Jam/Lesh Solo -> EOTW -> Lesh Solo > Samson & Delilah, and this recording really picks up Lesh's bass nicely! The Estimated -> He's Gone-> Drums w/ Lesh Sort of Solo > TOO is smoth with some standout Lesh moments. When the band comes back for the encore Phil asks the crowd if they know what night it is (OMSN is then played). Excellent aud with a Lesh heavy mix and an unusual show too boot! | |||||
