Notes: | Shn: in the form of a single .wav file per disc that has been SHN compressed, with .CUE sheet compatible with CDRWIN. many traders list this show as masterDAT, the guy that owns the master tapes told me that they were never transferred directly to DAT; PCM copies off the masters and provides DAT clones from them; Sony ECM-280 mics into a Sony 158 cassette deckPCMDAT(n?); n = # digital 'generations'. (***note: 72-09-22 & 77-05-09 together, SHNs = 3CDs)

I did this by patching music from the existing channel into the lossed channel. Short fades were applied at the beginning and end of each set. I also speed-corrected (103.751%) each of the two wav files before splitting into individual tracks using CDWave. The Fireman's Tapes releases were the result of the generous contribution of music by Mike Weitzman*, a volunteer firefighter and first-response rescue worker, to the Pi
