Notes: I downloaded the original shorten files from www.gdlive.com on 6/12/01. When I played the directory containing them, with shnamp, I heard the telltale click of a track not cut on a sector boundary during the Passenger > Cumberland transition. I checked them with shortentool and confirmed that nine of the original tracks were not cut on sector boundaries, then ran shortentool's fix routine to repair the sector boundaries. The output from shortentool is included.
