Notes: First, allow me to say that I really do appreciate the fact that so many work so hard on the Harvested project(s). I find it remarkable that amateur recordings are poured over so tediously by amateur archivists and loving pieced together or that original sources are tracked down and brought to the forefront to provide the very best possible sound in amateur recordings. The work accomplished by the people who remain diligent to their work is often of the "remarkable" quality. For what I say next I will probably owe an apology to Ron Toon as the person responsible for this project seeing the light of day. Honestly, I DO appreciate that the people responsible for Harvested have sacrificed so much of their time and energy and they really are responsible for bring out some fantastic quality shows over the years. That he has meticulously pour over this project and emptied his heart and soul IS to be commended. Surely there is a crown in heaven for people like Ron Toon who dedicate themselves in such a fashion. Having said that......This project, no matter how 'rare', uses nothing that could possibly be seen as the 'best' of anything. The video quality is horrid for the most part and the audio quality is barely better. A rating of "horrid +" is probably about right. I can't imagine that anyone would waste more than "1 time" to view this and then stick it away in some soon to be forgotten location. I think, honestly, that the best thing that can be said about getting this show is that you will only be wasting 1 DVD to own a copy. And again, I apologize if my assessment sounds harsh, but I have to be honest. If you are looking for something "rare", this might be it. If you are looking for something that represents a band you hope to listen to or watch and enjoy, please keep looking.
