Notes: aud/sbd - cotsman [2207-02-28]This recording is out of date. A more complete sbd for set 2 now circs and the aud used for the remainder has also been upgraded.

Notes: aud - attributed to andy nourse [2007-03-12]This is the Tim Blackstrom source which recently came to life via Charlie Miller. Miller's seed has better sound quality and looks to be somewhat more complete and hence is preferred to this source. All comparisons were made using Cool Edit Pro in multi-track mode.

Notes: set 2 sbd via C Miller [2006-07-28] Excellent sound on this one, but the set is not a strong one compared to others at this time. The Star > Eyes > PITB looks tasty on paper, but the execution is rote and the outro of Eyes has Bobby playing off key? PITB is not one of the normally tightly jamed versions that end a 1st set (maybe by this time in the show the band is tired and its more difficult to insert the jamming portion of that song at the end. Also, the song selection doesn't overlap with my favorites (I'm not a WRS fan).

Notes: Beyer Mics recorded by Tim Backstrom via Charlie Miller [2007-02-25]After set 1 one of the mic jacks were damaged so the recording in mon for set 2 but the sound field and tonal range is outstanding on this tape especially for this era. This makes it a must listen in my book. Set I starts off with a rare Cumberland Blues followed by HCS. Other highlights for this era is Wave That Flag (lyrics are better than US Blues IMO). The rest of set 1 and start of set 2 covers many songs in rotation at this time. Set II jam features a brief Weather Report Suite Prelude into Dark Star-> Eyes Of The World-> Playin' In The Band, The PITB is short and EOTW has the jazzy up tempo style of this era. Dark Star features a variety of style starting quietly but contains some dissonant Tiger meltdown as well. It seems to come across better on teh aud than the sbd but I like auds. It is a common for people to sya that this etlist looks better on paper than it comes across and I sort of agree but the quality of the aud overrides these minor concerns so I still put this on the must hear list.
