Notes: sbd [2007-05-12] Good mix and sound. I liked Kieth's pian around 8:00 of d2t04 (TOO) reminded me of the Bitches Vrew/ In a Silent Way Miles Davis. THe jams into and out of TOO are worthy of your time, the rest is standard 74 - well executed but not spectacular.

Notes: This recording was made using Jerry's Moore's rig which he handed off to some strangers with better seats with some brief instructions. It has very nice sound, through this show isn't as strong as some other 74's. The main drawback are the long breaks between many songs in set 2 (other than the jam) which eliminates the chance for building some momentum. The jam itself is nice in the 74 style, so themes are investigated for a few minutes before moving on. I thought the performance of To Lay Me Down stood out. [2007-04-19]On relisten not much change- enjoyable but not epic or on my must hear list. Here's a comment from the IA that mirrors my experience "An unrecognized show? Although I've heard some great new ones from 74, this one still stands up well, and I'm surprised more folks don't know about it. The first set is STRONG, and except for El Paso, no dumb Bobby songs! Jerry is the dominant force here, on Scarlet, Sugaree, Cumberland and Lay Me Down. The Let it Grow is well jammed, with nice keyboard from Keith. But Set 2 is where they really cook up something special. He's Gone>Truckin>Fault>Other One and Spanish Jam is one long sonic soundscape, lasting over 30 minutes before finally coming down to earth on Wharf Rat. Jerry's guitar here is wilder and more uninhibited than in most 74 shows - Hendrix style! And how about a rare early Peggy-O? Then they rock out the rest of the show. A great show that belongs in your 74 collection. You've heard the classics, now try this one! Recommended. Dr. Flashback ;-)"

Excellent soun don thi smatrix too!
