Notes: Liberated Bootleg : Playing God Philadelphia, PA - JC Dobbs Club - May 2, 1992 01. Sound Check 02. Part of Me 03. Hush 04. Cold and Ugly 05. Sober 06. Sweat 07. Crawl Away 08. Swamp Song 09. Bottom 10. Jerk - Off This bootleg is a gem for it's time. This was during their tour for Opiate, their first EP. There is some audience discussion from the tapers, but only in between songs. The songs feature different lyrics from the album versions, which is always cool to hear. The original source of this recording was VHS, but it sounds really good knowign that fact. There is little distortion, only when maynard is screaming his lungs out. Even then it's still very listenable.

Notes: **WOW!! GREAT EARLY TOOL SHOW!! IT IS AN AUDIENCE TRI-POD SHOT SHOW AND SOME MIGHT GRADE THIS LOWER, BUT THERE'S NOT BUT TWENTY PEOPLE OR SO AT THE SHOW, SO THERE'S LOOOOOOAAADS & LOADS OF CLEAR UNOBSTRUCTED SHOTS OF THE BAND AND THE SOUND IS DAMN SOLID!! THE CLOSE-UPS OF MAYNARD ARE INCREDIBLE....IF NOT A LITTLE SPOOKY!! WEEEEEELL WORTH HAVIN'!!
