Notes: The original recording runs slow and sounds like The Who on downers. I increased the pitch by 75 cents (three-quarters of a semitone) to find the right key for these songs. Also boosted the low and high end; cut the amp noise a little during between-song stage talk and boosted the level of the chatter so you could hear more of what Pete says; removed one obvious drop-out in Summertime Blues; and added a touch of concert hall ambience to give the stereo soundstage a little more life. The band's introduction by the Fillmore staffer (not Bill Graham, but who?) is now tracked separately, too. To my ear, this is a big improvement. Hope you like it, too! - TheTooleMan The one thing that wasn't done was correcting the channels. On the boot and on TheTooleMan's remaster Townshend is in the left channel and Entwistle is in the right. I decoded TheTooleMan's FLAC files to WAV, and reversed the channels with Sound Forge 5.0. So this is a channel-corrected version of TheTooleMan's remastering job. I've included the boot art, which was inaccurate to begin with ("July 21, 1969, Oakland"), and now with the introduction as a separate track is more inaccurate. Though 'Sparks On The Bay' is the source of these files, they should _not_ be traded as being that boot.--craig62
