Great version of Because The Night & Fire, and also includes what many consider to be the best versions of Racing In The Street and the best band Thunder Road ever! - Essential, Also broadcast live on the radio, and video footage is available. Released on CD "Piece De Resistance" (GDR) & "Southside Bruce And The E Street Jukes" (SEA)

Notes: This b&w footage was shot for the closed-circuit TV screens in the theatre. The image is grainy and has poor contrast. There are also bands of interference running across the screen at times. This is the complete show, with audio dubbed from CC?s Passaic Night soundboard recording. Despite the relatively poor image quality, this is arguably Bruce?s greatest ever show and so this DVD is essential viewing.

Notes: Arguably the greatest Bruce show of all time and in my opinion it wins hands down. The show was broadcast live on WNEW-FM and as the legend goes, you couldn't go anywhere that night and not hear Bruce and the band blasting through the streets of New Jersey. This is probably the best show to start a Springsteen collection with.
