Notes: | Liberated" from the "He Must Be Dazed & Confused" bootleg release on the Empress Valley label. Mostly SBD, with a few AUD patches - SBD source sounds like it is mono videotape source, rather than a true stereo mixing desk tape; the mix moves around quite a bit throughout(with bass & drums always relegated to the back), but it is a clean, relatively hiss-free recording & one of the better LZ "SBD's" I've heard. Performance is excellent! | |||||

Notes: | Earl's CourtWell, here it is folks...the BIG one! Make room on your hard drive! This is the soundboard recording of the 05/24/75 show from Led Zeppelin's legendary series of concerts at Earl's Court. This is an absolutely mammoth show! It's one of the longest shows Led Zeppelin ever performed, running close to four hours! It spans four CDs, and contains just about every Zeppelin tune you ever wanted to hear in concert. The track list reads like a greatest hits album! From a review of the show: There?s no need to comment on the band?s performance during this show, as most are already familiar with it and many consider this show to be one of the best (if not THE best) of 1975. Still, after all this time, many tracks still send shivers through my spine, including Tangerine, Trampled Underfoot, the Woodstock portion of Dazed and what has to be one of the best-ever versions of Stairway. Sound is phenomenal, throughout. There are a couple of slight shifts in the first track or two, while the mixing board crew adjusts the band's sound to the venue. These are very minor, and afterwards the sound is near perfect. Only "Going to California" and the first thirty seconds or so of "That's the Way" are missing from the soundboard. These have been filled in with an excellent audience source. EVERYBODY who likes the mighty Zeppelin, even just a ~little~, should have this show. Jump on, and let's see what this thing we call BitTorrent can really do! |
