Notes: aud [2007-02-01]Note that this is not the Falanga recording referenced in the TC but another source that entered the digital realm late 2006. the sound qulaity is good with the only drawback being some muddy bass and vocals that are low in the mix but this might be from the debut of the Wall Of Sound. Show has debut of Scarlet and Cassidy. Set 2 has the last PITB > UJB > DEW > UJB > PITB palindrone with the Dew being the best part emotionally for me. the show features many songs but isn't one o fthe top performances from the year.

Notes: sbd - preferred version circa 6/03 [2007-03-12] I hear a very small digizip in US Blues. The aud patches close to the sbd except for different soundfield and obviously crowd in the mix. Above average overall but no particular songs stand out as all time bests. Band was probably having fun playing through the monster WOS at its debut.

Notes: SBD + AUD Matrix 2 Source Mix (65%-SBD/35%-AUD) [2007-03-24]If you are looking for which source to listen to for this performance this is the one I suggest hearing 1st. It has the benefits of the aud that appeared in 2007 and a good sbd. This is also a DP's. 1st set runs through a bunch of songs. On this listening I noticed that a minute or two before IKYR starts, its sounds like Garcia is quoting some TOO themes. It would have been cool if they did C > TOO > IKYR. Set 2 features one of the 3 PITB>UJB>DEW>UJB>PITB pallindromes. The Dew was very good. The PITB>UJB was typical of this combo and difficult to individualize. Overall I did not find this a strong show. Maybe being the 1st WOS attracts attention to it while for teh band it was essentially a live practice session to take it for a test drive.

Notes: AUD MC>(PCM?)>DAT>DA-20>M-Audio 192 (Shnid=78599) Editing and mastering by The Wizard [2007-07-07]This is a clean up of the aud source. The PITB sequence struck me more favorably this listen. Long show as they break in the WOS.
