Notes: | mrberger's comments: CHICAGO,IL AMPHITHEATER 12/1979 3 DVD DISCS SET PRO SHOT Best quality that I have seen .I got it from a friend who lives in Chicago and whom claims to of taped it to Beta max when it was rebroadcasted in 1980.I borrowed his Beta max tape and bought myself a Beta player on ebay and transferred this to 3 DVD's discs.Still not the greatest, but betterthan I've seen after 3 upgrade attempts in 2 decades. For some reason, the quality gets worse as it goes along though. The best of the quality is on disc one (about 55 min). There have been a few versions of this particular show circulating on video and dvd for some time now. However, none are quite as good as this one. Quality is exceptionally good, considering the use of Half-D1 frame size. By using Half-D1, the overall bitrate is higher than it would have been had the frame size been 704x480. In my opinion, it would have been nicer to have seen this released on 2 dvd's with the Full-D1 frame size, however, having said that I'm still thankful that it's been released (at last) in much better quality than previously available. A timecode is present running at the top of the screen. The opening 8 seconds (where the band arrive on stage) is missing. The end of Drowned is cut (by 17s). Who Are You cuts in (after 59s). Some banter is also cut between those two songs. There is also a cut after WGFA before the band leave the stage (1m 44s missing). Complete with menu and chapters. Length: 2h 34m 27s. Artwork, DVD Decrypter Log and MD5 Verification File all included. If this is shared elsewhere please leave this text and all other files intact, thank you!
