| Notes: | aud - "Amplitude distortion and taper and crowd talk plague the most of this tape, though you can get the gist of the show. Bertha > GSET is energetic. The sound of the aud recording when coupled with the numerous excellent soundbaoards from this year of great performances relegates this to the lower quartile for 72. Maybe a good sbd would enable a fairer comparison of the music on this date. The He's Gone > TOO is quite good, in a jazzy melodic way without wankery. This date did NOT have a PITB (the compendium says set 1 was cut short for issues with the piano). It also states this date was recorded by Jerry Moore but I do not know if this aud is that recording if in fact it is true that Jerry recroded it. | |||||
