I thought I'd heard Donna at her worst but what she does here to Scarlet Begonias rings the bell. This is well beyond over the top or being "a bit off that night"... Donna's contributions too high in the mix IMO on Money-Money as well. Set 1 routine for 74 up to the set closing C>R. Mnay people note thais as an altime favorite version but it didn't standout to me. Mix has Keith panned left which is distracting when he's playing just a few supporting rhythm notes. Set 2 has two jam segments: A full WRS > Wharf Rat and then a Truckin > MLBJ > NFA > GDTRFB > OMSN. The Truckin > MLBJ is probably the improv highlight of the show. Overall, I wasn't left with a buzz after this show - it would clearly benefit from being reduced to a few highlights. | |||||
