Notes: Really clean audience recording, but, sadly, Maynard's voice is WAY too loud. On some songs, he almost completely drowns out the instruments. It's still a great show, and I'm sure I'm being too picky here.

Notes: Tool Ozzfest Antwerp, Belgium 5/23/02 High Quality Audience (specific unknown)>DAT Clone>Panasonic 3700>Soundblaster Extigy via Coax>Adobe Audition 1.5>WAV>FLAC (lvl 8). *passed thru several hands; source info unverified. 1 Intro 2 The Grudge 3 Ions>Stinkfist 4 Parabola 5 Schism 6 Sober 7 Disposition 8 Reflection 9 Triad (w/ System of a Down drummer John Dolmayan) 10 Lateralus 11 Part of Me I do not see this show on a lot of lists. It is probably my favorite of this era and certainly one of the most listenable. One of the better sounding audience recordings of the Lateralus tour but rather short. Sound Quality, weighted for Audience source, would be 9.0>9.5. Crowd noise is minimal

Notes: Tool - " An Evening With Tool, Ozzfest 02" ( 5-23-02), Antwerp, Belgium, Sportpaleis Antwerpen Audience Recording Lineage: Trader CD-R > EAC, Secure Mode, Accurate Stream, No Disable Cache > WAV > Flac Frontend, Encoding Options, Level.6, Align On Sector Boundaries > Flac Original Taper: Wim De Vreugd (?) Label: Hammer Records 1) Intro/Tuva ( Fades In) 2) The Grudge 3) (-) Ions/Stinkfist 4) Parabola 5) Schism 6) Schism ( Continued) 7) Sober 8) Dispositon 9) Reflection 10) Triad ( With John From System Of A Down On Drums) 11) Lateralus 12) Lateralus ( Continued, Fades Out) Enjoy! Please Do Not Convert To Lossy Formats Please Do Not Sell Please Share With Others I got this in a trade quite a while ago, an excellent recording, one of the rara shows where Maynards voice overpowers the instruments, his voice and the sound goes on for miles. I don't know if this is Wim De Vreugd's tape, and if Hammer records picked it up and put it on their label, so that's why I put the question mark next to his name. This is however the only source I found on " Collective Unconsciousness", if anyone has any info, it would be most appreciated. Hope you all enjoy! Cheers

Notes: It doesn't get a whole lot better than this in terms of recording quality. A full-bodied recording. Really picks up the acoustics of the venue (the space/heaviness) without any awful reverb or bass. An absolute pleasure to listen to. The instruments are mixed extremely well too. Nothing is overpowering the other. This is very rare. Excellent perfermance by the band as well. Everyone is on, particularly Danny and Justin (but when is Danny not ON?). MJK strains at times to hit notes (not his greatest vocal performance), but I'm being picky. Recommended.
