lineage: unknown audience recording > ? number of analog tape copies > maxell XLII 90 min trade tapes > played on tascam 112 into soundforge (wav) > FLAC (sb's aligned)
notes: the source of this was known to use a Sony 152 recorder at this time
and unknown (external) mikes of fairly good quality but it is not known if that is the recorder used to make this recording. it is a pretty good recording for the time, only a normal and managable amount of crowd noise, and not much obstruction of microphones. the performance is typically solid as were most on this tour. the recording is seamless except for a couple of interruptions
which have been spliced, one in R, A and B, and the obligatory cut in Supper's Ready. it's close to the whole show. there is some quality variation in parts
but most is fairly consistent sound quality with good fidelity. good enough to be able to tell (without testing) it's not lossy sourced. disc 2 can also be started with track 9 so disc 1= 59:44 disc 2= 64:53 |
