Notes: Another great show that I actually went to! This is probably one of the best performances from the whole tour, only beaten by the first Cleveland apperance by the band. Geddy is in a talkative mood tonight, as he likes the share the names of all the songs with the audience, and it turns to be an amazing performance. The sound here, at first, may sound subpar. But a few minutes after Finding My Way, this becomes one of the best audience recordings I have ever heard of. The overall sound is very clean and clear, and not distant at all. A great show, a must have in my eyes.

Now it is available to all to listen to. This is a first gen source, and there is currently no way of finding the master. The show itself is a bit distant and Alex is low in the mix. But the show sounds great, very listenable with minimal audience interference. And clean? This is one of the cleanest sounding first gens I've ever heard, especially for a recording that is over 26 years old! Geddy introduces In the Mood with "We would like to do a number that will be our next single. This is a song called In the Mood. I hope everybody is tonight." Then Geddy introduces Anthem with "We would like to do a number that will be on the next album. This is a song called Anthem." Now there are a few problems with the source. The first few minutes of the recording are rough and there are some sections of In the Mood that sound like radio interference as well as part of the drum solo that is equally rough. When the original master tape was copied, it was copied to a Hi-Fi stereo VCR, the best quality audio recorder available before DAT. When the tape was later transferred to cdr, the tape would no longer track perfectly, hence the static noises. Now there is also a possibility that this isn't a typical audience recording and that it might have been recorded on stage. I'll let you the listener be the judge of that. Once again, many thanks to Ash for making this show available. As with all Digital Reproductions releases, this is available by free trade only. Keep the spirit of trading alive and don't buy or sell these recordings. (2002-02-11)"
